Karen Mount trained at the prestigious Centre for Psychological Astrology gaining a Diploma following intensive training from some of the best teachers in psychology and astrology in the world. "The building of self esteem and confidence in childhood has fixated me for many years. Coming from a generation where ruling by fear and threat of punishment were practically the norm in our society, I am delighted to witness a shift towards the fostering of trust, communication and independent thought." From her busy astrological practise in North London she often deals with issues between children/teenagers and parents. "The wisdom of this ancient art can transform relationships purely through understanding where another person is coming from. It is always satisfying to witness the difference astrology can make in someone's life." Her clients range from stars of stage and screen to local shopkeepers, people from all walks of life. Her interest in the positive development of children also finds an outlet in teaching drama to teenagers where use of role-play and creative invention encourages self-knowledge. Karen also specialises in relationship charts between two people where astrological knowledge of self and another proves transformational time after time. Karen is the mother to a ray of Leo sunshine, 11 year old Fergus. |
